Ravi Kishan, a member of parliament for the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) from Gorakhpur and a Bhojpuri actor and singer, has released the Gujrati-Bhojpuri rap song "Gujarat ma Modi che" on social media for political purposes.
The song's intended audience, according to Ravi Kishan, is Gujarat-based voters from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The BJP leader expressed optimism that the song would catch on with UP-Bihar residents of Gujarat.
Within a few hours of its release, the rap song already had over 10,000 views. "The song is about Gujarat's development, PM Modi's integrity, and his approach to fighting corruption and nepotism. Sardar Patel and Mahatma Gandhi are also mentioned in the song "After the song's debut, Ravi Kishan said.
The song highlights how there are plenty of jobs, electricity, and water supplies as some of the accomplishments of the BJP government in Gujarat.
The Statue of Unity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and BJP's Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan are all depicted on the song's poster.
The opposition Congress and AAP are mocked in the rap song, which claims that they have no chance of triumphing in the upcoming elections.
A new Bhojpuri rap song called "UP mein sab ba" was released earlier this year by Ravi Kishan in support of Yogi Adityanath during the elections in Uttar Pradesh. Within a short period of time after its release, the song quickly rose to popularity. Over a million people viewed the song online.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, is from Gorakhpur, where Ravi Kishan, a member of the BJP, resides.
